Goodwill of Orange County Wins Two Prestigious MarCom Awards

--International awards received over 6,000 entries from US, Canada, several other countries--

SANTA ANA, Calif. – Nov. 13, 2012 – Goodwill of Orange County announced today that it is the proud recipient of two MarCom Awards: a platinum award for its 2011 Annual Report, and a gold award for its Retail Enhancement Campaign. The MarCom Awards program received over 6,000 entries from the US, Canada, and several other countries. Only 32 percent of entries received platinum and gold award recognition.

MarCom Awards are administered and judged by the American Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP), an international association consisting of several thousand creative professionals. MarCom Awards winners ranged from individual communicators to media conglomerates and Fortune 50 companies.

Goodwill of Orange County has received numerous awards in the past including MarCom Platinum Awards in 2010 for the Goodwill Fitness Center PSA campaign, and in 2011 for its Annual Report. In the past few years, the organization has also been the recipient of Hermes and Telly Awards for several notable communication tools.
